A dimly lit staircase, laughter and cigarette smoke.

So I haven't written a proper post in a while.

This is going to be attempt to get something worth reading,

(well at least my defintion of "worth" haha).

My Summer has been great, but way too short for my liking. I feel like it was only yestrday that I was getting off the plane at Brunei airport. I don't know how i'm going to re-adjust to classes again. I've just got used to the idea of being able to sleep whenever I want and being able to wake up whenever I want. AH WELL at least I was able to enjoy about three months of that, i guess it is time to get back to the real world.

My parent's 35th wedding anniversary party was a few nights ago. I had a really good time and it was nice of Ma & Pa to let me invite my friends aswell. Of course, it ended up with a lot of drunk people. Not a bad thing mind you, it was just a sign that people were having fun. Nice amount of grog and a really nice dinner. There was a lot of food left, so Ma & Pa did the right thing and packed a lot of it up so I could eat it for breakfeast hehe.

This summer is the end of Brunei being Brunei. Not that it will ever change for me, it will ALWAYS be home. It's just, everyone's moving away, starting their own life. Getting jobs, continuing with further education. We're going to be separated all of the world, UK, Australia, KL. At least with today's communication, it's really fucking hard to get out of contact with friends. Annie's going to Australia shortly after her stay with me in KL, so i'll be visiting Melbourne as much I can so I can see her and David.

So long Brunei. To every moment that's made me laugh, to every person that's made me smile. I owe who I am, who I will be, to this place.
