Nothing's real 'til it's gone.

It's Sunday and my semester break is at it's end. It's not like I did anything that exciting, but the fact that the holiday over is depressing. I'm looking forward to continue with my course though and i've got a Human Hearing Foundation quiz tomorrow which won't be too hard. It's all basic knowledge that i've got to regurgatate and put on paper.

I've been playing around with Adobe Audition 2.0 on my laptop. It's all well and good and I got a adapter for my guitar however, there's a lag in the montioring from the computer to my head phones. I hear the guitar 1 second after I play it. I've had no problems importing my drum patterns though.

The distortion options on Adobe aren't that impressive either, I need to put a line in through an amp to get a real crunchy sound. I'm disappointed because I hunted around from cable adapters for about an hour. Ah well.

My birthday is next month, May 5th. I think we're all just going to Reggae Bar and drinking beers and having Shisha. I wouldn't spend my birthday any other way, good friends, good music and good beer. I've had Yu Foong stay at my place two nights in a row because it was Lisa's birthday on Friday. She's turned 20 so we've all just spent time with her and we went to Sunway Pyramid to watch "Defintiley, Maybe". It was an alright movie, but I've seen better romantic comedies.

Jolene's in the hospital because of her lungs, she's on an oxygen mask and medicaton. I'm really worried about her, but apparently she'll be okay. I'll go visit her soon, I hope you get better soon sweetheart.
