Brunei, I really do miss you...
Anna and I have been down with a Virus for the last week, such a pain in the ass!
I've finally recovered with a runny nose, but Anna's now got the beginnings of what appears to be Bronchitis. She's up in the mountains with her family, so at least I know she's in good hands. Still, the bed is awfully cold without her. Even WITH the electric blanket!
I believe Winter has finally arrived in Melbourne due to what i've seen from the weather forecasts. 14 degrees seems to be highest it's going to get... GREAT. The heater in the apartment might as well be broken, it doesn't warm up the room at all. Stupid, stupid heater. The best thing to do is to have a hot shower when you can't take it anymore. But the ventilation in the bathroom is so shit, you can hardly see anything for the condensation!
Ah it's okay, it won't last forever.
I went into my interview on last Thursday and it wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. I had Anna with me the first time for the tour, which was really comforting. She was so encouraging and supportive, asking more questions than I was. I really adore this girl...
I haven't heard back yet, and the lady I had the interview with isn't in the office until tomorrow.
Fingers crossed, I'll be starting first semester soon!
Why do I feel like something is going to go wrong?
