"We were watching TV together on the couch.
She was lying on my lap, looking up at me.
She pursed her lips and said, 'kiss me'.
I looked down at her, I said 'I can't bend my back that far'.
She smiled. She said, "yes you can."
So I bent in, thinking I was definitely NOT going to make it.
She lifted up her head, so she met me midway.
We kissed. The rush, it was familiar from the first time our lips met.
She said, 'I'll always meet you half way.' "
