The set up.

Firstly, if you read my previous post, I was FAR from sober when I wrote that. I think it was just inebriatted rambling about something that made me extremely happy that night. OH yes, I know remember.



We hit the studio yestrday and we recorded "Anna". It took about five hours to record this one song, we were all so tired afterwards. James and I had to wait from 7:00AM to 12:00PM when the guys arrived because we had no other ride. When we started, there was some complications with the headphones and the monitoring level. We finally figured out it was just the headphones that weren't working haha.



Syam needed to come late, so Bryant, Izzat and I recorded our tracks first. We thought everything went fine until syam arrived and something was wrong. We realised we had recorded our parts in the completely wrong tuning!

So Bryant and I had t re-record our parts again. I guess we could've avoided all that hassle by using a tuner, but then Syam had our tuner. Ah well, the vocals also took a long time. We took about four takes of David's vocals and about the same for Syam's aswell. Then we discovered we had a really, really nice Shure Microphone somewhere at the back with a pop guard and the volume and quality of the vocals increased about %200. So we used that instead!
