Weekend again!

It sucks, everyone's on mid-semester break just as i've finished mine. I wish we had holidays that coincided, ah well.

We went to a gig today at LimKokWing. It was awesome, it was a charity gig and there were local bands playing. The University's band, Melodica, who are fucking awesome and LoveMeButch played. I met their guitarist as he was coming up the stairs. I asked him,

"Hey man, you remember me from the MCPA gig?"

Meng goes, "Oh, the guy from sabah?"

"Haha, no. Brunei".

He responds, "Oh yes, of course how are you bro? Are you watching tonight? Are you coming tomorrow?"

I go, "Of course i'm watching tonight. But tomorrow? It's so expensive we can't afford it."

He goes, "Oh really? I can reserve pre-sale tickets for you. 55Rm, it's a good deal. I'll give you my number so you can call me when you get to the door at Zouk?"

I shit myself and Lisa and I hand him our phones so he can put his number in it. My mobile now has Meng from LoveMeButch's guitarist number in it! I'm so happy, I can't believe it. He's so nice too, he even offered to give us a ride at the end of the gig. Meng is the guy on the far left, he's got a sexy guitar and very unique style of playing. They called LoveMeButch: The Deftones of Malaysia.

Talking about the gig, it was awesome. There was some hardcore dancing and moshing, Mahesh got his hardcore dancing on and Lisa, Sam and I were headbanging at the front. I'm aching from all the bashing I got. Sam got a cut beneath his eye and my mouth was bleeding after I tossed into the mosh pit. All medals from a metal gig...
