Cigarettes and open air.

I finally brought my guitar to University today, I was asked to record a short thirty second guitar bit over drums to show the class how to record instruments. I cheated and used a Wah Wah effect on ProTool's Amplitude and just improvised a solo using the E Minor Blue Scale, I made a lot of jaws drop but what I played wasn't impressive at all. I was asked by a lot my class mates to play in their songs, I was flattered no doubt, but i'm not as good as they think I am.

After class finished, I headed back home in a Taxi and it raining really heavily. I got home and I saw a lot of cars backed up in the road that lead to my apartments. I got out of the taxi and I realised that the whole section of the road infront was flooded because of the river below. I was really pissed off because I had my guitar and soldering kit in my hands. I walked a few more steps to take a better look and I saw one of Hafiz's friends, Bob, he was kind enough to let me put my guitar in his car aswell with my bag.

I then waited for about twenty minutes with another friend of mine, Keshen. We got impatient and we noticed people crossing the current, so we decided to give it a shot. There was a lot of cursing due to the temperature of the water and I was pondering what the hell could be in the murky water. It was quite a site seeing about four hundred students wading across this river to get back to their apartments. When we eventually made it to the other side, we recieved a round of applause from people in our apartments.

I went out with Rodney, Mahesh, Kiki, Kat and Lisa today to eat dinner. We had a banana leaf curry, fuck, it was amazing!

Came home and chilled out for a bit.
